Last Friday due to a burn ban we had to make a swap in our menu plan. After all the rain we have had we finally could fire up the grill. I was really looking forward to it and we certainly weren’t disappointed.
We were finally able to make the Brazilian Flank Steak with Salsa. The salsa was certainly not what you normally expect a salsa to be. I’ve never had hearts of palm in a salsa. It was really very interesting and quite tasty.
As a side dish we had a new Thai inspired dish, Vegetables with spicy honey sauce.
This combination may sound odd but it was so delicious. Both of dishes have common ingredients. As a result they blended well.
