We love pizza. This pizza is quick, simple and delicious. Instead of making the pizza dough from scratch it uses naan bread for the pizza base. Using naan bread not only saves time but it is great for portion control.
4 pieces Naan
2 teaspoons olive oil, or as needed
1 jar pizza sauce
4 cups mozzarella cheese
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
Place naan breads on the prepared baking sheet; brush each naan with olive oil. Spread pizza sauce over each naan. Arrange pepperoni slices on each naan; top with mozzarella cheese.
Bake in the preheated oven until pizza is crispy on the edges and cheese is melted, about 8 minutes. Turn on oven’s broiler and broil until cheese is lightly browned and bubbling, about 2 minutes.
The last several shopping trips we have made have gone quite well. We have been under budget.
Technically this week we were too, if you only look at the menu items for the two weeks (week 1 menu, week 2 menu). However we all know there are incidentals associated with cooking and real life that are not menu items but still should be included with the food budget. Again this week we are trying some interesting looking recipes from other bloggers, Zucchini Pancakes with Tzatziki. This recipe looks like a perfect match to my favorite Chicken Curry recipe. Other than that we are sticking with some tried and true family favorites including a copycat recipe for a wonderful Tuscan soup from the Olive Garden.
