Last night I mentioned that I was going to make Bourbon Street Deviled Eggs for a going away party, potluck style, we attended this evening.
All in all I am quite pleased with how they turned out. Before we went I did a test run on the family. They liked them. But I was still a little nervous to see how they would be received by the larger audience. After all this is kind of an experiment having never made or even trying Bacon Jam. Much less coming up with my own version, I call it Bourbon Street Bacon Jam.
I’m glad to report that they were well received, at least for those who like bacon. We had one person, you know who you are, even say they wet themselves a little when they tasted them. I hope that is a good thing 🙂
