According to research firm, Euromonitor, ketchup surpassed mayonnaise as the No. 1 most-used condiment.
What’s wrong with mayo? Mayonnaise is loaded with fat, calories and salt. One tablespoon has approximately 94 calories; 10 grams of fat; and not much of anything else.
While a little different you could make your own aoli with healthy oils and have something more tasty you would still have a tons of calories.
So why not try these lower calorie alternatives?
Some simple alternatives include:

Substitute:

This is great. I’m always on the hunt for alternatives and I always thought mayo was irreplaceable! While I don’t use mayo regularly, it’s difficult to sub in certain salads. Awesome post. Can’t wait to try

Thanks for the alternative recipes. I’ve got to try them. I loooove mayo but in addition to not wanting all the fat, I worry about the raw eggs sometimes so these alternatives are perfect. Can’t wait to try them.
