Spring is in the air in tornado alley. That means fun and games for those of us who live here. This week we made a swap in our menu plan so we could have quick and easy meals should we need to ‘bug out’. Friday we were scheduled for Tomato Basil Cream Chicken and Greek Salad. We thought a sandwich would be better on a night like this so why not a great Bagel Sandwich with Pasta Salad. Tuesday was also a stormy night so we thought comfort food would be a good choice. What is better than Meatloaf with fluffy Garlic Mashed Potatoes.
The rest of the week was great though and a fun week of food.
Monday we had a blast with make your own pizza night making personal Naan Pizza’s.
Wednesday we had fun with a new kitchen gadget a taco shell mold. Worked out perfect for holding our taco salad.
Thursdays are always busy so we took a break from the ‘fun and tasty’ and went with ‘quick and delicious’. We had a one of the best and easiest Chicken Pot Pies you can make.
Saturday we finally got a chance to try another great recipe. This one from nourishedpeach it was a delicious Tomato Basil Cream Chicken. We loved it.
